10 Kids Bedroom Essentials From Amazon

When it was time to transition my son from a nursery to a “big boys room”, I found so many budget friendly essentials on Amazon. He had reached the age that it was time to move from a crib to a regular bed so there was so much I had to buy from new sheets, and a comforter to a mattress protector and bed rail bumpers. Changing out bedding was a big part of his room makeover because he now had an entirely new bed and bed size. As he was sleeping alone in a full size bed, I wanted to make sure he was safe by getting bed rail bumpers and also ensure his matress lasted for all the years to come by getting a waterproof mattress protector that could be easily thrown in the washer when accidents happened. Aside from bedding must-haves, today on the blog I am sharing some of my favorite finds that help keep your little one’s room as organized and tidy. The Best Curtains for a Little Boys Room
These blue and white gingham curtains just scream “little boy’s room” to me. These are some of my favorite curtains because they are timeless. I had these in Wells’ nursery and have kept them now that he has transitioned to a big boys room. These traditional curtains add a fun and classic pattern to a space and are available in several different color options. The pink and white would be absolutely adorable in a little girl’s nursery or bedroom. There are also some color options that would fit well in a kitchen.

Dinosaur bed sheet set (4 Piece) - My son, Wells is all about dinosaurs right now. Every day he requests to wear a dino hat and shirt, so it only seemed right to also get him dinosaur sheets for his new big kids room.
Buffalo Check Curtains - Such a classic pattern that Wells will be able to keep in his room for years and years. They’re playful for a kid’s bedroom, but can also be used as he gets older and his room decor changes.
Toddler Bed Rail Bumpers (set of 2) - Total necessity! These have been one of my favorite Amazon finds as I have transitioned Wells from a crib to a normal bed. No more having to worry about him rolling out of his bed. 10/10 recommend. These memory foam long pillow pads are non-slip and have machine washable covers.
Waterproof Mattress Protector - Seriously another game changer for your little one’s bedroom. This quilted mattress cover is breathable and machine washable. It comes in every size — Twin, Twin XL, Full, Queen, King and California King. It is 100% absorbent and waterproof to keep your mattress safe from spills or nighttime accidents.
Handwoven Lidded Laundry Basket - We have this and love it. Not only is is adorable and a great way to add texture to a room, but it is also an awesome size. I love the fact that this laundry hamper is lidded because it keeps things looking tidy and helps prevent the stinky smell of dirty clothes from filling the room. Another bonus is that the canvas liner is removable and machine washable.
Acrylic Shelves - Have. Love. I ordered the set of 6 and made 3 rows by hanging 2 side by side on each row. I wanted them to be a bit longer, so that’s the solution I came up with and it looks great! These are wonderful for any style nursery or childrens bedroom.
Water Hyacinth Storage Basket - You can never have enough storage in a kid’s bedroom muchless storage that is aesthetically pleasing. This basket is ideal for toys, blankets, stuffed animals and really anything!
Toy Storage Organizer - Perfect for your kiddos room or for a playroom. This is great to keeping toys up and out of the way but still easily accessible. I love all the little bins on this organizer. A big plus about this type of storage unit is it is easy to clean and sanitize!
Gingham Sheet Set - You can never have enough sheet sets especially when you have little one’s. I love this traditional pattern and the fun colors!
Kids Table and Chairs - When I was little I always loved having a table that was made just for me—the perfect size. This white table and chair set is another favorite finds from Amazon. Place it in your little ones room or playroom for crafts or you could even use it at the holidays as kid’s table when your home is packed with guests.
